Co-creator and performer of this contemporary dance piece that set out to reflect on the notions of community and belonging. This in a context of high police violence in indigenous territories in southern Chile. Rocks and bodies were the materialities to deploy these concerns. Thus, we explored the different ways in which bodies could be held, rejected, beaten, coupled. The stones appear as a material that allows the creation of fictional and transitory territories that throughout the scenic piece, are reorganized to create different landscapes.
Review:
Ripio is a persistent gesture of assuming a “we”, a space intertwined from potential surplus places: what is the frontier between inside and outside, between before, after, and again?
