Camila Delgado Flores (1992), performing artist.
Graduated in Dance at the University of Chile and a Diploma in Philosophy and Aesthetics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, since then she focuses her work on contemporary dance and a disciplinary hybridity that circulates between theory, writing and methodologies. She focuses on the power of bodies in the production of knowledge and in imagining and reflecting on the possible relationships between theory and practice, between thought and movement.
She has worked as a researcher and creator in the live arts with projects that emphasize the relevance of the methodological aspect of creative processes and an urgency to collectivize, circulate and share this knowledge in different ways. Thus, she has also worked as a teacher of improvisation, in a gesture that emphasizes this inclination to look at and share the ways of doing and the transformative power of movement. She has also dedicated herself to dance performance, highlighting her collaboration in pieces directed by renowned artists.
